6850424 Power Measurements Reported by ILOM Are Lower After Upgrading

Server From ILOM 2.0 to ILOM 3.0.3.35

Issue:

After upgrading your server from ILOM 2.0.x.x to ILOM 3.0.3.35, the

power measurements for permitted_power and available_power are

lower. The amount that the measurements decrease will vary depending on

the number of memory DIMMs that are installed in your server.

Affected Hardware and Software:

• Sun Blade X6270 Server Module

• ILOM 3.0.3.35

• Supplemental Software Releases 1.0, 1.2, and 2.0

Fix Available:

This issue is fixed in Supplemental Software Release 2.0.1 and 2.1.

6862764 BIOS Can Become Corrupted When SP Firmware Is Upgraded Using

Preboot

Issue:

Following an ILOM recovery upgrade using the preboot (uboot) ILOM

recovery method with the .flash ILOM image, the host BIOS software

can become corrupted. This might result in the inability of the host to

correctly power on.

Affected Software:

• ILOM 3.0

• Supplemental Software Release 2.0

Fix Available:

This issue is fixed in Supplemental Software Release 2.0.1 and 2.1.
